The Lowland Hundred - Adit

On 7th November 2011, Hundred Acre Recordings will release The Lowland Hundred's Adit, the much-anticipated follow-up to their critically-acclaimed 2010 debut, Under Cambrian Sky.

Adit will be released as a limited edition CD Digipak with illustrated booklet (which, if we do say so ourselves, both look absolutely stunning) and in various digital download formats via Spotify, iTunes, and Amazon mp3, among others.

Pre-order and sample excerpts from Adit at the Hundred Acre Recordings online shop.

On Adit, The Lowland Hundred travel inland from the coastal scenes that characterised Under Cambrian Sky, roaming instead through the haunted valleys and windblown hills of Ceredigion, their adopted home county in Mid Wales.

Their focus has shifted from the landscape itself to the people who live within it. Set against a backdrop of derelict silver mines and minatory pine forests, Adit reveals intimate stories of everyday existence - its loves and losses, its hopes and fears, its triumphs and its disasters.

These same themes are further explored in the video to Adit's opening track, The Hushing, which you can find in HD on the Hundred Acre Vimeo page.

Best wishes from all at Hundred Acre.
